What are Instant Downloads? This is a new service we offer which allows you to purchase our films as a Quicktime video file for download to your computer for instant viewing. This is ideal if you live outside the UK as there are no shipping charges, no waiting for DVDs to arrive, no compatibility issues and better still, you can download and watch our films instantly!
How does it work? Simply shop as usual from our Instant Downloads category. Once you have checked out and paid, you will be redirected back to your order summary, where you will find a link to your downloadable video files. You will also receive two emails: your order confirmation and the download link. Simply click on the link and you will be taken to our download area. You can then download the whole film to your computer.
How big are the files? The files are quite big (around 600mb) so you will need a broadband connection to download them. It takes about 5 minutes on a fast connection to download, but these times can vary.
I have not received the email containing a download link Log into your account on the right hand side of the site. Click on 'Account Maintenance'. You should see your order on the list, open the order to find a link to the download.
Will the Instant Downloads work in my country or computer? Yes! Downloaded video files are universally playable in any country and on and PC or Mac. However, video files are very large and if your computer is old or running slow, it may take longer than usual to download or play the video file. You can try the service now with our FREE demo clip: Lake_District_Trails_Preview.mov (27mb) (right click and choose "Save Target As", then save to a location on your computer.)
What do I need to play back the films? The films are standard Quicktime video files. We recommend you have the Quicktime Movie player installed.
How long will the files be available for? File access will expire 5 days after your first download. You may download each file a maximum of 3 times. You can log into your account from our website and access the download area from the home page under the login box.
